welcome to stop sixteen – Green Square! our last underground station and our second to the last stop! cue tears. I usually only get off here to catch a bus to my go-to film lab, Rewind Photo Lab, so this is the first time I’ll be exploring the area.

the star of the show is the Library just outside of the station. it has beautiful glass walls almost acting as camouflage against the bright blue sky. it looks like most of the books are downstairs with plenty of study spaces and reading nooks. I’ll make a point to visit longer next time!

after some walking around, I started getting hungry (surprise surprise) so I went to a Japanese restaurant that I walked past. the restaurant was quite small but it was pretty packed. I ordered a scallop tobiko temaki and a spicy tonkotsu ramen. it was a pretty long wait but when I got the scallop temaki… oh my it was overflowing with scallop up until the last bite! a few moments later the ramen finally came and they weren’t kidding about the spice! lucky I didn’t mix in the spicy paste straight away. overall I was so satisfied with my order. I knew I had made a right choice with this place. visit Take Sushi Waterloo if you’re ever in the area ~

I really enjoyed Green Square, at the station on the way home there was a multi-level Asian store and they had all the instant ramen, soft drinks, and ice cream you could ever want. I’ll be back soon!
Next stop, Central ~
Beautiful shots!! I have so much of your blog to catch up on!! The food sounded so good and the library looks like a great spot! I love how you are taking these shots. The green square sign shot in the station, the one of the library, and that really cool colored glass tower are some of my favorites of yours in this session. 🙂
