alighting at Mascot! stop fifteen on our journey – unlike the two previous stations, we’ll be exploring the suburb as I hear there are a lot of good eats ~ let’s see what we can find hehe

as I walked around, I came across this really cool slide. I really wanted to go on it hahaha but thankfully, for the good of mankind, I practiced some restraint.

Mascot has soo many apartment blocks which fuels the many restaurants that have also sprouted in the area. I decided to spend some time at Oliver Brown while I waited for the restaurants to open. I guess I was too eager to take on the day as the sun had decided to come out and play! I ordered some Earl Grey and people-watched. soon enough, 11:30 came along and my tummy lead me to…

Long Men Zhu Noodle Bar! I usually don’t trust many Ma La Tang places but they get plus points for having Teh botol at the ready! unfortunately because I was there so early they didn’t have the good stuff prepared yet like intestines and lamb but I guess there’s always next time. I do still highly recommend!
So that’s it for Mascot! Next up – Green Square ~
Thanks Leah for keeping up this lovely series. Even though I never really comment on your travelouges, I read them all and really enjoy to dive into the atmosphere of Australia! Especially the photo with the street sign is simply amazing.
And please do yourself the favour and go down the slide next time you’re there 🙂
