third stop – Leumeah! whenever I need something in this area, I usually go by car so seeing it on foot was a refreshing change. it’s a small station, with only two platforms.

next to it is a small shopping centre with all the local necessities such as a post office, a chemist, and a butcher.

the real star of the show though is the nearby skatepark. usually flooded with kids on scooters, I timed my visit to be on a school day so I had the place to myself. I’m too chicken to actually go on the ramps though so I just stick to cruising!

next to the skatepark you’ll find fast food galore! spread out around the intersection are McDonald’s, Hungry Jacks, KFC, Oporto etc.

as usual, I opted to eat somewhere that isn’t very commonly available – Harry’s Cafe de Wheels. I ordered a steak and mushroom pie with a ginger beer to quench my thirst from all the walking. Harry’s pies always hits the spot!

that’s all for today! it was fun experiencing Leumeah in a different way. a few lads were making fun of me for taking photos of things that they found so ordinary. that’s the thing – there is beauty in the ordinary.
next stop – Minto ~

love this! your adventures look so fun. c:
